As I was studying my ACE Personal Trainer Manual I came across a profile of one of the reviewers of the manual and an educator for ACE. His name is Justin Price, owner and creator of The BioMechanics Method. Here is a link to their website.

Watching the video under the "event" tab was interesting in comparison to a ITS training event. As everyone had a physio ball and foam roller with them. Making me think a physio ball shouldn't even be incorporated until the functionalise phase of a clients program.
I am not sure if anyone has heard about The BioMechanics Method of assessments and exercise or how they compare to that of ITS's. I just thought I would post this as fruit for thought. I was researching it in the US to know what other ideas in intrinsic biomechanical training may be available to clients in my area. I hope this is informative for some of you. It is a good idea to keep the competition in mind and know what else is out there.
thanks very much for posting this. yes we're aware of this system. they are in with some big marketing organisations like FitPro so they do get some good airtime. it is (not surprisingly) a very different model to ours. theirs is more a musculo-skeletal screen (a cross between range of movement and functional movement). its actually quite clincially based and there are some clinical screens in their too, i do get concerned that they are on a 'sticky wicket' legally training peronsal trainers to do what is really in the realms of physiothetrapisy (or physical therapy).
Like all systems though i'm sure they will have something to offer - thenmore tools we have in our box the better our service to our clients!
