Hoping someone can help. I have a client who came to my with pain on the outside of her leg. The pain has actually gone through adjusting the pelvis to negatives. However she is still getting shooting nerve pain down the leg. I prescribed the normal slump, switch to slump ankle and slump where you raise the head gentley, have also treid progressing the reps to which none of these work. I have now been trying to work the muscle where tension has been felt whilst mobilising the joint, however this has not worked either.
I now seem a bit stuck as to what to do next. Anyone able to help??
Pain can often be helped using Biomechanics Coaching methods. if it does not and you're sure the pain is referred and not local (muscular for example), then refer to a therapist. if you think its local, then masage and the POC programme for the foot may help. if it does not then refer to a therapist.
