Hi Libs, typically the dropped foot is from damage to the personeal nerve. Often a fracture of the head of the fibula (around which the nerve passes) can damage the nerve at the same time. This isnt correctable by biomech coaching. However as the personeal nerve is a branch of the sciatic nerve, you can imagine that low grade versions of the condition can sometimes be helped by correcting pelvic issues. Also you can get personaeal nerve issues from low back conditions, such as disc injuies - which we know biomech coahcing can help. The botom line is try it and see what happens, the worst that can happen is nothing!
I would have to agree with admin/jo ;) there is no harm in giving it a go! You may find that the compensations caused by the drop foot are actually making it worse, peel back the compensations and you may be left with the bones of the real issue. Go get 'em!!!
