Almost all of my clients have been gained from my group classes and they have approached me so I havent had the pressure to actually go out and look for them, which I know most Biomechanics coaches have.
I though it would be interesteing to discuss how you promote what you do and what you have found that works compared to things that havent worked?
Word of mouth is a great way of advertising for free, but you have to establish that word of mouth first of all. It's always worth carrying business cards, leaflets or anything like that with you, just in case and always be thinking that an opportunity can occur anywhere, anytime.
Most definitely! Just talking to anyone and everyone, you don't even have to mention what you'll do if the conversation is going well they will ask ;) and then you can sell yourself from there! Then get loads of TESTIMONIALS!!! Spread their word and use them in your consultations
I speak to the PTs at the gyms in my area, once they understand what I do and how it can benefit their clients they refer. Attending local events offering mini screens is also a great way to get into the non fitness audience.
I agree Libs, giving something away for free gives the right morality message, shows you are confident in what you are doing, demonstrates the plausibility of the system and shows them the benefits; just dont give them too much!
Hello everyone. I'm a newbie on here. Does anyone have any advice on consulting with company's and providing office biomechanics, health screening and the like? I have been approached by one of my clients who has been really impressed with the screening process and would like me to offer the service to his company.
This is the fastest growing market for Biomechanics Coaches due to the imovefreely.com software programme!
This awesome online self assessment programme is evolving as we speak due to the demand. At the moment it consists of 5 screens and the relevent exercises that office workers can use, while sitting at their desk, to identify the main problem areas experienced from being desk bound.
It is nice and simple to follow and will help many, however it wont necessarily help everyone so there can be a link or your contact details available on their page to point the user to you for a more thorough 1:1 screening.
It hits the masses at a low cost and HR groups can be very interested in hearing about this type of product.
If you call Mim 01158780466 she can get you a log in set up so that you can offer individuals access for just £35 annual subscription - you get £10 commission for all memberships you sell and this is also a great product to enhance your exercise precription with your present clients.
If you wish to promote what you do to a larger group of anything from several hundered employees up to several thousands then it would be best to contact martin@intelligenttrainingsystems.com for some team support as this could entail a proposal to the company. Martin has a lot of experience of designing bespoke proposals for larger organisations and would be very keen to work with you in something like this.
We have some very exciting statistics coming through from occupational health groups in the forces (police and fire service) so Martin can help you with those too.
